Exterior Signage

My work with signage fabrication has been extensive. Over many years in the field, I’ve become skilled at welding, painting, CNC and laser cutting, large format printing, installation, and other fabrication methods. I have both created and Installed, as well as managed teams.

This projects conception came from seeing potensial in scraps left over in industry.

I used the inside pieces of plywood scraps to get the dimensions I need to work with and sketched out a rough shape on the scrap. From there, using both those dimensions and other popular chairs for economic dimensions, I took a lot of inspiration from the Eames Rocker for the seating and bottom contour. I 3D modeled the shape in Blender3d and sliced it up into 2D vector files for CNC cutting. Everything Is designed to fit together without the use of any adhesives, screws or nails.
